2020 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Ceremonies Across Nigeria (Watch Videos & Pictures)

ABUJA
President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senator Yahaya Abdulahi (the Senate majority leader, representing the Senate president), Mr Femi Gbajabiamila, Justice Tanko Muhammad, the ministers of defence and the FCT, the service chiefs and the inspector general of police all laid wreaths at the Cenotaph in Abuja today to mark the 2020 Armed Forces Remembrance Day.

President Buhari also released pigeons to symbolise peace and he also signed the register.

The Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu SAN, laid a wreath to mark the 2020 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration at The Ondo State Government Cenotaph, Alagbaka, Akure.


KADUNA
Governor Nasir El-Rufai laid a wreath this morning at the Remembrance Day ceremony at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna.

NAIJAHUG SAYS;
“Serving fatherland is a costly sacrifice for many of Nigeria’s armed forces.For those who were lost in the course of service, God’s rest.And for those who still have their boots on, more strength,courage & hope to keep going.Happy Remembrance Day.”
